Launched in 2024, Dot Golf Co. has been likened to the "Crocs for golf gear," offering a fresh and innovative way for players to express themselves through their equipment.


About the Role

We are looking for a current Indiana University student to join us as a Digital Marketing and Executive Assistant Intern. This is a virtual, hands-on role for a creative, organized self-starter who wants real ownership over marketing initiatives and executive support work. The internship is structured to provide meaningful experience now, with the opportunity for a full-time position after graduation for the right candidate.


Compensation and Logistics:

  • Flexible scheduling around class schedule
  • Fully remote
  • Approximately 10 to 15 hours per week during the school year, with potential for more during summer or breaks
  • Duration: one semester, with extension possible
  • As part of this internship, you'll have the opportunity to earn bonuses and payouts based on your performance, your contributions, and the company's overall results.


Required Qualifications

  • Current Indiana University student in good academic standing (any major considered, marketing, communications, business, or related preferred)
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Strong creative instincts and visual sense
  • Portfolio showcasing social media work, content calendars you have managed, and examples of digital strategy
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Reliable, responsive, and comfortable managing your own time


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn)
  • Familiarity with content creation tools (Canva, CapCut, Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, etc.)
  • Experience with scheduling and analytics tools
  • Basic photo and video editing skills
  • Copywriting experience for brand voice and short-form content
  • Experience with CRM or project management tools (HubSpot, Notion, Asana, Trello, Monday, etc.)
  • Understanding of basic marketing analytics and KPIs (engagement rate, reach, CTR, conversion)
  • Comfort working with executives and handling confidential information professionally


Responsibilities: Digital Marketing

  • Manage and execute the social media content calendar across platforms
  • Draft, schedule, and publish posts that align with brand voice and visual identity
  • Create original content including graphics, short-form video, captions, and stories
  • Monitor engagement, respond to comments and DMs, and flag opportunities or issues
  • Track performance metrics and report on what is working and what is not
  • Research trends, competitors, and emerging platforms relevant to the brand
  • Support digital strategy planning, including campaign concepts and content themes
  • Collaborate on influencer outreach and partnership coordination
  • Assist with email marketing campaigns, including drafting, scheduling, and list management
  • Help maintain and update website content as needed
  • Coordinate with photographers, designers, or contractors when projects require outside support upon approval from
  • Build content libraries and organize digital assets


Responsibilities: Executive Assistant

  • Manage calendar, schedule meetings, and coordinate logistics for the executive
  • Responsible for monitoring and maintaining founder’s to-do list 
  • Attend select meetings to capture notes, track key takeaways, and follow up on action items
  • Organize digital files, contacts, and documents for easy access
  • Maintain confidentiality on sensitive business and personal matters
