About The Role

We are seeking a hands-on QA Automation Engineer III to join a cloud-native engineering organization supporting consumer banking account origination platforms, including checking accounts, savings accounts, and credit card application systems. This role will focus on building and maintaining scalable automation frameworks for modern web applications and API services within an agile development environment.

The ideal candidate is a strong individual contributor with deep experience in Selenium-based automation, test scripting and enterprise application testing. Candidates with strong Java automation backgrounds who can transition into a .NET ecosystem are also encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks for web applications and APIs.
• Create reusable automation scripts using Selenium and related testing tools.
• Partner closely with software engineers, product owners, and scrum teams to ensure product quality.
• Participate in agile ceremonies including daily standups, sprint planning, demos, and retrospectives.
• Execute functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Validate cloud-native applications deployed in containerized environments.
• Support CI/CD quality validation processes.
• Troubleshoot defects, analyze root causes, and document testing results.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of automation coverage and testing standards.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on QA automation engineering experience.
• Strong experience with Selenium automation.
• Experience developing automation scripts using C#/.NET.
• Experience testing modern web applications and APIs.
• Understanding of automation frameworks and testing best practices.
• Experience working within Agile/Scrum teams.
• Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with .NET/C# automation development.
• Experience with cloud-native or containerized environments.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes or OpenShift.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
• Exposure to banking, financial services, PCI, PII, or regulated environments.
• Experience with account onboarding, customer portals, or e-commerce applications.
• Familiarity with tools such as QTest, SoftLabs, or similar testing platforms.
