Mid-Senior Full Stack Engineer - 4-Week Contract

I’m working with an early stage AI startup that’s right in the middle of building out a new product feature and they need a strong Full Stack Engineer to come in and help ship it.

This is a short, focused 4 week full time contract, fully remote, working directly with the Founder so please apply if you can start within 1 week. There will be potential to extend.

It’s the kind of role where you’ll get into the codebase quickly, understand what’s already been built, and take real ownership over delivering a live feature that’s already in motion. The product is B2B AI for SaaS so its integrations heavy and the project is well mapped out.

What you’ll be working with: React, Next.js, TypeScript, Node.js, AWS, PostgreSQL

What they need from you

• They’re looking for someone who has built and shipped real SaaS products
• Built and maintained full stack applications in React / Next.js / Node.js / TypeScript
• Designed and worked with APIs and third-party integrations
• Implemented authentication and user management systems
• Worked with payment flows (Stripe or similar)
• Used AWS and PostgreSQL in production environments
• Comfortable jumping into an existing codebase and moving quickly

Nice to have (but not essential)

• Exposure to AI products or AI-driven features
• Experience in Martech or SalesTech environments
• B2B SaaS background
• Heavy integration work with external APIs
• Startup experience where you’ve had to figure things out on the fly

The setup: Fully remote, Immediate start, 4 week full-time contract, 1 stage interview. Mid to Senior role. $650 - 800 per day DOE. You must live in Australia with full work rights to apply.

This is best suited to someone between roles or finishing up a contract who wants to step into something fast-moving where you can actually ship meaningful product in a short space of time.
