Overview
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Finance Manager to take ownership of core financial operations, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Credit Control, Payroll, Spend & Cost Management, and Management Reporting.
This is a hands-on role, requiring strong technical capability, commercial awareness, and the ability to drive financial discipline across the business in a fully remote environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Management of all global external contractor expenses, including daily reconciliation of all spend (this is 60-70% of the daily workload)
- Oversee and manage Accounts Receivable processes, ensuring timely invoicing, collections, and receipt of supplier payments
- Ensure invoice discounting trust accounts are reconciled to the company bank accounts and QuickBooks daily.
- Maintain strong credit control procedures to optimize cash flow and reduce aged debt.
- Manage end-to-end internal and external payroll processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Liaise with external payroll providers where applicable
- Monitor company expenditure and implement cost control measures
- Analyze spend trends and identify opportunities for efficiency improvements
- Deliver insightful financial reporting to senior leadership
- Provide variance analysis and actionable recommendations
- Support and manage invoice discounting / factoring arrangements
- Maintain and optimize financial systems, particularly QuickBooks.
- Drive process improvements and automation, leveraging advanced Excel tools

Requirements
- Minimum 5+ yearsβ experience in a Finance Manager or similar role
- Strong practical experience using QuickBooks
- Advanced Excel skills (e.g. pivot tables, lookups, financial modelling)
- Proven experience managing AP, AR, payroll, and management reporting
- Strong understanding of credit control and cash flow management
- Fluent business-level English (written and spoken)
- Experience working in a remote / distributed environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving ability
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Commercial mindset with the ability to influence decision-making
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a remote setting
