Senior Data Engineer - Azure and Databricks Expert

For a large financial enterprise organization in the Utrecht area, we are looking for experienced Data Engineers with strong Azure and Databricks expertise. In this role, you will help build, maintain and optimize scalable cloud-based data solutions within a complex and highly data-driven environment.

You will work on modern data platforms, data lakes and big data solutions, while contributing to high-quality and future-proof data engineering practices. The assignment requires someone who can work independently on complex technical challenges, while also keeping strategic oversight and focusing on maximum value for the internal customer

• doDevelop, maintain and optimize data solutions within the Azure clou
• d.Work with Databricks, Data Lakes and large-scale data environment
• s.Design and optimize SQL data warehouse models using Kimball methodolog
• y.Build scalable data pipelines using Python, Scala and/or PySpar
• k.Work with Unity Catalog for data governance, access management and catalogin
• g.Contribute to DevOps processes and Agile/Scrum delivery team
• s.Ensure high-quality, maintainable and customer-focused data solution
• s.Translate complex data challenges into robust and scalable technical solution
