Human Resources Generalist - Semiconductors
We are partnered with a global leader in high-precision semiconductor inspection and measurement systems. The team is seeking a multifunctional HR Generalist to manage daily operations, payroll, and global mobility for their expanding European team.
This is a permanent position based onsite in Dresden, Germany.
Key responsibilities for this HR Generalist position:
- Lead talent sourcing, structured interviewing, and the full onboarding/offboarding process for technical and administrative roles.
- Execute the monthly payroll cycle, ensuring total compliance with German labor laws, tax regulations, and social security.
- Manage immigration processes, including visa/work permit applications and sponsorships for international assignments.
- Act as a point of contact for conflict resolution, performance guidance, and employee engagement initiatives.
- Coordinate global travel arrangements for field service engineers and liaise with international HR hubs.
- Develop localized HR policies and ensure adherence to working time rules and organizational standards.

Key requirements:
- 4–7 years of progressive experience in HR operations, payroll, and immigration support.
- Expert knowledge of German employment law and payroll compliance.
- Proven track record in a multinational environment with experience in global mobility.
- Proficiency in HRIS platforms (e.g., Personio, Workday, or HiBob) and Microsoft Office.
- Degree in HR, Business Administration, or equivalent; Germany-recognized certifications (IHK) are highly preferred.
- Ability to manage sensitive information and collaborate effectively across global time zones.
- Fluent German and English communication skills.
