Are you an experienced cloud engineer who enjoys building scalable AWS applications, modern APIs, and event-driven systems?
We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to support the modernization of large-scale healthcare transaction processing and backend data platforms. This role focuses on developing cloud-native applications, integrating AWS-managed services, and building distributed systems that process and deliver critical data securely and efficiently.
This is a 100% remote opportunity.
What You'll Do
- Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services
- Build cloud-native applications within AWS environments
- Develop event-driven and asynchronous workflows using AWS-managed services
- Integrate applications with APIs, data pipelines, and cloud-based platforms
- Create scalable solutions utilizing AWS services including:
- Lambda
- SQS
- SNS
- EventBridge
- API Gateway
- DynamoDB
- S3
- ECS/EKS
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code
- Participate in code reviews and technical design discussions
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex integration and data-processing challenges
- Collaborate with engineering, DevSecOps, platform, and business stakeholders
- Contribute to Agile software development teams and best practices
