Technical Project Manager
Location: Remote; occasional approved travel may be required
Duration: Contract-to-Hire
Compensation: $145,00–$165,000/year

About the Role
A growing biotech/pharmaceutical organization is seeking a highly organized, adaptable Technical Project Manager to lead a portfolio of complex, cross-functional initiatives across IT, cybersecurity, infrastructure, and global operations. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity with strong potential for long-term conversion.
The ideal candidate is scrappy, structured, and able to drive results in an evolving environment with multiple active priorities. This person must be comfortable operating in both Agile/Scrum and Waterfall environments, depending on the project, and able to effectively bridge communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
This role will support a high volume of concurrent initiatives, including IT security projects, global office expansion, vulnerability management program rollout, mobile application infrastructure planning, SharePoint and ServiceNow initiatives, and broader operational technology efforts.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Manage 15–20 concurrent projects across IT, cybersecurity, infrastructure, and global operations
- Lead end-to-end project delivery, including planning, execution, tracking, reporting, milestone management, and risk management
- Coordinate project resources, dependencies, budgets, timelines, and deliverables across multiple teams
- Partner cross-functionally with IT, Security, Corporate Affairs, Engineering, Facilities, Compliance, and business stakeholders
- Translate complex technical concepts into clear, business-friendly communication for leadership and non-technical teams
- Facilitate Agile/Scrum ceremonies or Waterfall-based planning depending on the nature of the project
- Track project progress, identify blockers, manage dependencies, and escalate risks appropriately
- Help standardize and optimize project management tools, processes, and reporting across teams
- Support project tracking across tools such as ServiceNow, Jira, Smartsheet, and Microsoft Project
- Drive accountability across distributed teams, vendors, and internal stakeholders
- Support key initiatives such as:
- Mobile application infrastructure rollout
- Vulnerability management program implementation
- Global office expansion across Europe, LATAM, and APAC
- SharePoint modernization
- ServiceNow implementation and future module rollouts
- Lab support, facility support, and business operations technology initiatives
- AI-related operational and platform initiatives
- Provide leadership with clear status updates, risks, timelines, dependencies, and next steps

Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in technical project management, IT project management, or technical program/project delivery
- Experience managing projects within IT, cybersecurity, infrastructure, engineering, or enterprise technology environments
- Proven ability to manage multiple large-scale initiatives simultaneously
- Strong stakeholder management experience across technical and business teams
- Experience working in both Agile/Scrum and Waterfall delivery models
- Hands-on experience with project management and collaboration tools such as:
- ServiceNow
- Jira
- Smartsheet
- Microsoft Project
- Strong understanding of project planning, milestone tracking, risk management, dependency management, and executive reporting
- Ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical audiences
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and follow-through
- Comfortable working in an environment where priorities, tools, and processes may still be evolving
- Ability to work independently and drive projects forward with minimal oversight

Preferred Qualifications
- Background supporting cybersecurity, infrastructure, or enterprise IT initiatives
- Experience supporting global operations, international expansion, or distributed teams
- Experience in biotech, pharmaceutical, healthcare, life sciences, or another regulated environment
- Familiarity with vulnerability management, security operations, compliance, or risk-related initiatives
- Experience with ServiceNow project/program modules or ServiceNow implementation work
- Familiarity with cloud, DevOps, or modern infrastructure environments
- Scrum Master certification, PMP, or similar project management certification preferred
- Strong facilitation and executive communication skills
