Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Social Media Manager to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who understands how to build trust, authority, and engagement through social media in a professional healthcare environment.
We need someone who can own the social media function for healthcare clients, develop thoughtful content strategies, manage publishing calendars, write strong copy, and understand how social content connects to broader marketing, lead generation, patient engagement, and brand awareness goals.
You will be responsible for planning, writing, coordinating, publishing, and reporting on social media content across client accounts. The ideal candidate has strong writing skills, understands healthcare audiences, is comfortable working with executives and subject matter experts, and can move quickly while maintaining accuracy, compliance awareness, and brand consistency.
Key Responsibilities
- Social Media Strategy: Develop and manage social media strategies for healthcare clients across LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, and other relevant platforms.
- Content Calendar Ownership: Build and maintain monthly social media calendars aligned to client goals, campaigns, service lines, events, and thought leadership priorities.
- Copywriting: Write clear, polished, and audience-appropriate social media copy for healthcare organizations, providers, executives, and B2B healthcare brands.
- Executive Thought Leadership: Draft LinkedIn posts and social content for healthcare leaders, founders, physicians, executives, and client stakeholders.
- Campaign Alignment: Coordinate social content with broader marketing campaigns, email campaigns, landing pages, blogs, webinars, events, and HubSpot workflows.
- Creative Direction: Create, format, and coordinate supporting visuals using Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar tools.
- Community Awareness: Monitor engagement, comments, and audience response while escalating sensitive or client-specific items appropriately.
- Brand Consistency: Ensure all content reflects each client’s voice, positioning, compliance considerations, and healthcare audience.
- Performance Reporting: Track social performance, engagement, follower growth, content trends, and campaign impact.
- HubSpot Mastery: Use HubSpot where applicable for campaign tracking, social publishing, reporting, contact attribution, and marketing alignment.

Must-Have Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 3+ years of experience in social media management, content marketing, or digital marketing.
- Healthcare Experience: Direct experience writing or managing content for healthcare, health tech, medical practices, wellness, life sciences, or other regulated industries.
- Writing Excellence: Strong copywriting and editing skills with the ability to write in different voices for different audiences.
- Social Media Expertise: Proven experience managing social media calendars, publishing schedules, engagement strategies, and performance reporting.
- Communication: Strong Slack and email communication skills with the ability to navigate feedback, approvals, and revisions quickly.
- Content/Creative: Strong Canva skills, Adode is ok as well, need to be able to produce compelling images to accompany social copy text
- Autonomy: A proactive mindset with the ability to own the work, solve problems, and keep client deliverables moving.
Nice to Have
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
- HubSpot experience, especially with social publishing, campaign tracking, reporting, and marketing automation.
- Experience working with healthcare providers, specialty practices, medical groups, behavioral health, digital health, or healthcare technology companies.
- Experience using Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, or other design tools.
- Experience with LinkedIn thought leadership, healthcare executive branding, or founder-led content.
- Basic understanding of HIPAA considerations in healthcare marketing.
- A portfolio of social media content, campaigns, writing samples, or creative work.
