Job Description

Braun Management works with executive teams to address organizational problems that are too internal to fix alone. We provide structural analysis and written conclusions that help resolve friction and clarify decision rights within complex business systems. The team is currently preparing a structural analysis for a logistics firm in the Netherlands, and we are building custom digital dashboards to present our data, which requires dedicated CSS support to remain consistent with our standards.

Employment setup
This is a permanent, full-time remote role. The legal employer is Braun Management, based in the United States. We are accepting applications from candidates who are eligible to work in their current country of residence; no relocation or visa sponsorship is provided. While the work is remote from anywhere, your schedule will need to overlap with our current project team in the Netherlands for several hours each day. We expect a 40 hour weekly commitment with core collaboration hours between 10:00 and 15:00 CET. This is a paid position. The hiring process involves an initial interview, a practical CSS task, and a final conversation with our operations lead. No fees are required to apply, and you will not be asked to purchase any software or equipment.

What you will do
  • Update and maintain the CSS for our internal reporting tools and client dashboards.
  • Translate static wireframes and documentation into responsive HTML and CSS structures.
  • Test for visual bugs across various browsers and mobile devices to ensure readability.
  • Adjust layout properties to meet accessibility requirements for our executive clients.
  • Collaborate with our data analysts to format complex tables and charts for clarity.
  • Maintain our internal style guide and component library as we develop new tools.
  • Clean up existing stylesheets to remove unused code and improve organization.

What we are looking for
  • A basic understanding of modern HTML and CSS.
  • Familiarity with layout techniques such as Flexbox and CSS Grid.
  • Some exposure to version control tools like Git.
  • Interest in building minimalist, functional interfaces for business reporting.
  • Comfortable following specific written instructions and design specifications.
  • Attention to detail regarding spacing, typography, and alignment.
  • Ability to communicate technical progress clearly in written English.
  • An interest in how structural clarity in code reflects structural clarity in organizations.

What working here looks like
  • A work culture that values written documentation over frequent meetings.
  • Fully remote collaboration with a team focused on evidence-backed conclusions.
  • Access to experienced developers who can provide feedback on your code.
  • An environment that prioritizes precision and steady progress over frantic speed.
  • The opportunity to see how technical tools help solve real organizational friction.
  • Consistent full-time hours without the pressure of a traditional office environment.
  • Transparent communication about project goals and client expectations.

Success in this role means providing the visual layer that allows our clients to understand their own organizations better. By ensuring our reports are clear and professional, you help executive teams make the difficult decisions required to move forward. We value the quiet work of maintaining high standards in our stylesheets, as it directly supports the integrity of our consulting work.
