Associate Web Developer

The Associate Web Developer supports the technical side of our advisory engagements by building and maintaining digital tools that make management data clearer. At the moment, our team is managing a digital rollout for a Central European trade group with a significant presence in Hungary, and this role helps ensure their member portals and decision tracking systems remain functional and accurate for all participants. This is a fully remote position that focuses on building practical, reliable web interfaces rather than complex or decorative features.

• Working Hours: Core hours are based on Central European Time (CET), with a requirement for at least 6 hours of daily overlap with the team.
• Reporting Line: You will report to the Technical Partner.
• Compensation: This is a paid position with attractive pay.
• Hiring Process: The process includes an introductory call, a practical coding task focused on basic layout and logic, and a final interview with two partners.

In this role

• Maintaining and updating the member portals and internal dashboards built for our trade group clients.
• Translating Figma designs into clean, responsive HTML and CSS components.
• Ensuring that the information on our client platforms architecture stays consistent and easy for users to navigate.
• Writing technical notes and documentation that explain how specific tools were built so that clients can maintain them.
• Performing regular Quality Assurance (QA) checks on web forms and data entry points to catch errors before they reach the client leadership.
• Helping the consulting team automate simple data reporting tasks using basic script logic.
• Reviewing the performance of internal resource libraries to ensure fast loading times for remote users.

What we are looking for

• A basic understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript fundamentals.
• Some exposure to modern frontend frameworks such as React or Vue.
• Comfortable using Git for version control and basic collaboration on code repositories.
• Familiarity with design tools like Figma or Adobe XD to export assets and inspect styles.
• A preference for writing clear, readable code over clever or complex solutions.
• Building digital tools with a focus on accessibility and ease of use for non technical users.
• Available to work a full time schedule with regular availability during European business hours.
• Interested in how technology can make management and communication simpler rather than more complicated.
