Reporting directly to the executive team, you'll own the operational backbone of the People function—designing systems, processes, and programs that support a global workforce while helping maintain a high-performance, ambitious culture.

What You'll Do

People Operations & Infrastructure

  • Own and optimize HR systems, including HRIS, payroll, benefits administration, and employee data infrastructure
  • Manage the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, offboarding, promotions, transfers, and performance review processes
  • Build scalable policies, procedures, and operational frameworks that support company growth
  • Develop reporting and analytics around headcount, retention, performance, attrition, and workforce planning

Compliance & Global Workforce Support

  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations across multiple jurisdictions
  • Partner with Legal and Finance on international employment, payroll, immigration, and compliance matters
  • Manage employment documentation, policies, and internal compliance processes
  • Support a growing international workforce, including teams across global regions

People Partnership & Employee Experience

  • Oversee benefits administration and partner with external vendors to deliver a best-in-class employee experience
  • Partner with leaders on performance management, organizational design, and workforce planning
  • Serve as a trusted resource for employee relations matters
  • Help build and evolve a world-class People organization as the company scales

What We're Looking For

  • 4–7 years of experience in People Operations, HR, or related operational roles within high-growth technology companies
  • Experience supporting international employees and distributed workforces
  • Strong understanding of HR operations, employment compliance, and people systems
  • Highly organized and systems-oriented with a passion for building scalable processes
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and creating structure in fast-moving environments
  • Exceptional judgment, integrity, and discretion when handling sensitive employee matters
  • Strong partnership and communication skills with the ability to influence across all levels of an organization
  • Thrives in high-performance cultures and enjoys taking ownership of complex operational challenges

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base salary: $120,000 – $160,000
  • Significant equity opportunity
  • Annual performance bonus
  • $15,000 relocation bonus for Bay Area moves
  • $10,000 proximity bonus for employees living near the office
  • $1,500 monthly meal stipend
  • Complimentary Equinox membership
  • Monthly laundry and wellness reimbursements
  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage
  • 401(k) with company match

If you're excited about building the systems, processes, and people infrastructure that power exceptional companies—and want to have an outsized impact in a fast-paced AI environment—we'd love to hear from you.
