Job Description
Addison Group is working with a construction company in search for a Sr Cybersecurity Engineer to join their team. This is a fully remote, long term contract opportunity - please apply to be considered!
This individual will partner closely with internal teams to identify risks, enhance detection capabilities, and implement security improvements across infrastructure, systems, and user access environments.

What You’ll Do
- Serve as a technical lead, guiding the day-to-day work of a team of 4–5 cybersecurity engineers/analysts
- Monitor, investigate, and respond to security alerts and incidents
- Perform triage and remediation of infrastructure and network threats
- Maintain and optimize security tools (e.g., SIEM, EDR, email security platforms, firewalls)
- Act as a subject matter expert for email security solutions (including Proofpoint)
- Partner with engineering and infrastructure teams to identify and resolve vulnerabilities
- Contribute to the development of security policies, documentation, and operational runbooks
- Support planning and execution of security enhancements and implementations
- Analyze security data and generate reports on threats, trends, and vulnerabilities

What You’ll Bring
