Job Description

Product Owner – Health Insurance Solutions

Salary Range: 3 500 – 4500 €/month (gross)

Role Summary

As the Product Owner (PO) for our next‑generation health‑insurance software, you own the product’s success from vision and roadmap through profitable delivery and long‑term client satisfaction. You translate strategic goals and complex stakeholder needs into a clear, actionable backlog and partner with an Agile squad to turn that backlog into production‑ready increments. Acting as the single point of truth between business, customers, and development, you ensure that every sprint maximises value and keeps the product competitive in a rapidly changing market.

Key Responsibilities

·      Build and continuously refine a transparent product roadmap and backlog that balance profitability, regulatory compliance, and user experience. Prioritise items by business value, effort, and risk, and ensure acceptance criteria are crisp and testable.

·      Lead backlog grooming and sprint ceremonies, clarify requirements on demand, and accept completed work; guarantee each sprint delivers potentially releasable increments.

·      Gather feedback from internal and external stakeholders; convert it into epics, user stories, and success metrics while managing expectations on scope, timeline, and ROI.

·      Monitor product P&L, pricing, and adoption metrics; trigger pivots or experiments to hit revenue and margin targets.

·      Stay ahead of health‑insurance legislation and market trends; translate changes into product requirements and release plans.

·      Use analytics, A/B tests, and user interviews to validate hypotheses and sharpen product‑market fit.

Minimum Requirements

·      3+ years acting as Product Owner / Product Manager in Agile software teams, preferably in insurance, fintech, or other highly regulated domains.

·      Proven mastery of backlog prioritisation, epic/user-story writing, and acceptance-criteria definition.

·      Strong commercial acumen: able to connect feature decisions with P&L impact and client satisfaction.

·      Superb communication skills—capable of explaining complex concepts in plain language and of aligning senior stakeholders behind tough trade‑offs.

·      Hands‑on experience with Atlassian Jira/Confluence (or similar) and proficiency with MS Office/Google Workspace.

·      Fluent Lithuanian and professional English, written and spoken.

Preferred Qualifications

·      Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or equivalent Agile/Product‑management credential.

·      Prior work on health‑insurance, insure‑tech, or large‑scale B2B SaaS products.

·      Background in software engineering, QA, or UX that enables deep technical discussions and risk assessment.

·      Familiarity with analytics/BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) to drive data‑informed product decisions.

Tools & Systems Knowledge

·      Jira – backlog, sprint, and release management

·      Confluence – documentation and decision logs

·      CRM (HubSpot/Salesforce) – capturing customer insight and feature requests

·      SQL / BI dashboards – validating hypotheses and tracking KPIs

·      MS Office / Google Workspace – communication and analysis

What We Offer

·      Hybrid, remote-first setup – work from anywhere most of the time, with regular in-office collaboration for key roles (Operations Lead, Head of Product, Product Owner).

·      Truly flexible hours – take care of appointments or errands during the day without guilt.

·      Global team – daily collaboration with talented colleagues from several countries and cultures.

·      Ownership – autonomy to shape the product vision, roadmap, and go‑to‑market—your decisions directly affect revenue and customer delight.

·      Performance-based rewards – transparent, fair compensation plus benefits that grow with your impact.

·      Time for self-development – dedicate part of your week to courses, certifications, or passion projects.

·      Conference & event sponsorship – we’ll foot the bill for meet-ups that expand your skills and network.

·      On-site perks – modern workspace featuring standing desks, modern computers and an equipped gym.
