Role Description This is a part-time remote role for an SEO Specialist at Gaura Travel. The SEO Specialist will perform keyword research, conduct regular SEO audits, and optimize on-page elements such as meta tags, headings, and content structure to improve search visibility. The role includes managing and monitoring link-building activities, tracking performance using web analytics tools, and preparing concise reports with actionable insights. The specialist will collaborate with marketing and content teams to align SEO strategies with campaign goals and ensure best practices are consistently implemented across the website and landing pages.


About the Role

We are looking for a highly capable and autonomous Part-Time SEO Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will take full ownership of driving our organic growth, bridging the gap between high-volume search queries and commercial conversions. The ideal candidate has a deep technical background and a proven track record of independently executing optimizations that move the needle.


Key Responsibilities

  • Execute SEO Strategy: Independently plan, prioritize, and execute technical and on-page SEO improvements across our digital platforms.
  • Drive Conversions: Optimize organic search performance to improve both high-quality traffic and organic conversion rates.
  • Target Commercial Intent: Conduct keyword research and strategy with a strong focus on capturing commercial search intent.
  • Monitor Performance: Utilize SEO and analytics suites to track performance, diagnose drops, and uncover new ranking opportunities.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with web developers and digital marketing teams to ensure technical fixes and content optimizations are deployed seamlessly.
  • Report to Leadership: Collaborate effectively with international leadership in a remote setup to provide clear visibility on SEO growth.


Job Requirements (Must Have)

  • Experience: 3–5 years of hands-on, verifiable experience in professional SEO roles.
  • Core Expertise: Strong, deep expertise in both Technical SEO and On-Page SEO.


Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)

  • Autonomy: Proven ability to independently execute SEO tasks and drive strategy with minimal supervision.
  • Performance Track Record: Demonstrated experience in successfully improving both website traffic and organic conversion performance.
  • Tool Proficiency: Highly proficient with industry-standard tools, specifically Google Search Console, GA4, and SEMrush.
  • Strategic Thinking: Strong understanding of commercial search intent and how to align content with user purchase journeys.
  • Collaboration & Workflow: Experience collaborating directly with web developers and marketing teams.
  • Communication: Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Remote Experience: Proven experience working efficiently within remote teams and supporting international leadership.
