Job Description


Optomi, in partnership with our client, are seeking a Senior Product Manager to drive growth, strategy, and lifecycle management of a high-growth product portfolio supporting data center cooling infrastructure.


This role partners closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Sales, and customers to align market needs with product innovation, operational excellence, and commercial success.


Direct hire - onsite Mon-Thurs. in Grand Rapids, MI. Fridays are remote.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead product strategy, roadmap, and go-to-market initiatives for a rapidly growing portfolio.
  • Drive new product development launches from concept through commercialization.
  • Gather customer and market insights to influence product enhancements and future offerings.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve product issues, improve performance, and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Support pricing strategy, product documentation, customer demonstrations, and witness testing events.
  • Participate in customer visits and industry engagement to identify growth opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing, or related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in Product Management, Engineering, Operations, Marketing, or related functions.
  • Customer-facing experience in sales, account management, or product support.
  • Strong communication, analytical, and cross-functional leadership skills.

Preferred Experience:

  • Data center infrastructure, cooling technologies, HVAC, manufacturing, or industrial products.
  • Product strategy and innovation within high-growth markets.
  • Lean, Six Sigma, pricing tools, CRM, or product management platforms.
  • MBA or advanced technical/business degree is a plus.
