GAVL is a fast-growing digital marketing agency focused exclusively on helping law firms across the United States grow through strategic, results-driven marketing. Our core services include web design & development, SEO, content strategy, cinematic videography, and social media.

About the Role


As our SEO Manager, you'll be responsible for developing and executing SEO strategies that drive traffic, leads, and revenue for law firms across the country. You'll work closely with content writers, developers, designers, and account managers to ensure our clients achieve exceptional organic search performance.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys both strategic planning and hands-on execution. You'll be expected to analyze data, identify opportunities, solve problems, and continuously improve results across a portfolio of client websites.

What You'll Do


  • Develop and execute SEO strategies for multiple law firm clients
  • Conduct keyword research, competitor analysis, and comprehensive SEO audits
  • Create and manage SEO roadmaps and implementation priorities
  • Monitor rankings, traffic, leads, conversions, and other key SEO performance metrics
  • Identify opportunities to increase organic visibility and lead generation
  • Utilize tools such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, Google Search Console, Google Analytics 4 (GA4), and Google Tag Manager to uncover opportunities and measure success
  • Conduct technical SEO audits and collaborate with developers to resolve crawlability, indexing, site speed, Core Web Vitals, and other technical issues
  • Collaborate with content writers to develop content strategies that drive rankings and traffic
  • Optimize on-page SEO elements including metadata, internal linking, site architecture, and content
  • Monitor backlink profiles and identify opportunities to strengthen domain authority and organic visibility
  • Track and report on SEO KPIs and provide actionable recommendations based on performance data
  • Stay current with search engine algorithm updates, AI search developments, industry trends, and emerging SEO technologies
  • Communicate strategy, progress, and results clearly to internal teams and stakeholders
  • Assist with agency initiatives and cross-functional marketing projects as needed


What We're Looking For


  • 3+ years of SEO experience with demonstrated results
  • Strong understanding of on-page, off-page, local, and technical SEO
  • Experience conducting keyword research, competitor analysis, and SEO audits
  • Proficiency with industry-leading SEO tools including SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, Google Search Console, Google Analytics 4 (GA4), Google Tag Manager, and Google Business Profile
  • Experience using SEO software to identify technical issues, content opportunities, backlink gaps, and growth opportunities
  • Strong understanding of search engine ranking factors and SEO best practices
  • Ability to analyze data and translate insights into actionable recommendations
  • Experience with WordPress websites and common SEO plugins
  • Familiarity with HTML, CSS, schema markup, and technical website concepts
  • Excellent communication and project management skills
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently in a remote environment
  • Must reside in the United States and be authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Experience working with law firms or in legal SEO is a major plus
