Chief Growth & Marketing Officer (CGMO)

Our client is a leading global fintech and trading technology provider delivering infrastructure, connectivity, liquidity, risk management, and embedded finance solutions to financial institutions, brokers, fintechs, and trading platforms worldwide.

With a rapidly expanding international footprint across the Middle East, Asia, and Europe, the business is entering its next phase of growth and is seeking a commercially focused chief growth & marketing officer to build and scale its global growth engine.

The Opportunity

This is a newly created executive leadership position reporting directly to the senior leadership team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for defining and executing the company's global go-to-market strategy, accelerating customer acquisition, strengthening brand positioning, and driving revenue growth across multiple regions and product lines.

This role offers a unique opportunity to shape the future growth strategy of a high-growth fintech operating at the intersection of trading technology, embedded finance, and SaaS infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

Growth Strategy & Commercial Leadership

  • Build and execute a global growth strategy across digital marketing, demand generation, partnerships, events, and industry channels.
  • Develop scalable revenue generation frameworks supported by clear KPIs and reporting.
  • Drive market expansion across the Middle East, Europe, and Asia.
  • Define go-to-market strategies, product positioning, pricing frameworks, and competitive differentiation.

Revenue & Sales Enablement

  • Partner closely with Sales leadership to improve lead quality, pipeline generation, conversion rates, and customer acquisition.
  • Establish modern demand generation and marketing automation capabilities.
  • Align Marketing, Product, Sales Engineering, and Customer Success teams to drive customer adoption and retention.

Marketing Leadership

  • Build and lead a high-performing international marketing function covering:
  • Brand
  • Product Marketing
  • Digital Marketing
  • Performance Marketing
  • Communications
  • Content Strategy
  • Implement SaaS growth methodologies, including the following:
  • Account-Based Marketing (ABM)
  • Lifecycle Marketing
  • Funnel Optimisation
  • User Activation
  • Retention & Churn Reduction

Analytics & Performance

  • Create a data-driven growth culture focused on measurable outcomes.
  • Own key commercial metrics, including:
  • CAC
  • LTV
  • ARR
  • Pipeline Velocity
  • Retention
  • Churn
  • Product Engagement
  • Conduct market and competitor analysis to identify growth opportunities and maintain competitive advantage.

Candidate Profile

  • 10-15+ years of experience in fintech, SaaS, trading technology, financial services technology, or adjacent sectors.
  • Proven track record scaling growth and marketing functions in high-growth environments.
  • Strong commercial mindset with experience driving measurable revenue outcomes.
  • Experience partnering closely with enterprise sales teams.
  • Expertise in modern B2B SaaS growth strategies and demand generation.
  • Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
  • International experience across multiple regions preferred.
  • Experience selling into financial institutions, brokers, fintechs, capital markets firms, or trading platforms is highly desirable.
