We would like to meet a Senior Performance Test Engineer for a project with a remote working model:
Key Responsibilities:
Performance Testing:
- Design, develop, and execute performance testing strategies for enterprise applications.
- Assess application response times, throughput, latency, and resource utilization.
- Validate the performance impact of new features and software releases.
- Analyze test results and identify performance bottlenecks.
- Provide actionable recommendations to improve system efficiency and responsiveness.
- Ensure performance risks and release deviations are clearly communicated to stakeholders.
Scalability Testing:
- Evaluate application behavior under increasing workloads and concurrent user demands.
- Design load, stress, endurance, and capacity testing scenarios.
- Identify system limitations and scalability bottlenecks.
- Validate the scalability of newly developed components and integrations.
- Support architecture teams with scalability recommendations and capacity planning.
Security Testing:
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and security-focused testing activities.
- Validate application resilience against unauthorized access and malicious behavior.
- Identify security weaknesses, risks, and potential attack vectors.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure secure implementation practices.
- Support compliance with enterprise security standards and best practices.
Test Automation & CI/CD:
- Develop and maintain automated non-functional testing frameworks.
- Integrate performance and security testing into Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines.
- Automate execution, reporting, and monitoring of non-functional test suites.
- Contribute to continuous quality engineering practices across the software lifecycle.

Documentation & Reporting:
- Create and maintain technical documentation, test plans, test reports, and performance assessments.
- Present findings, risks, and recommendations to technical and business stakeholders.
- Track defects and improvement opportunities through Azure DevOps.
Required Skills & Experience:
Performance Engineering:
- Strong experience with performance and load testing methodologies.
- Hands-on expertise with K6.
- Experience integrating K6 with Grafana dashboards and monitoring solutions.
- Knowledge of performance metrics analysis, capacity planning, and bottleneck identification.
- Experience executing load, stress, endurance, spike, and scalability testing.
Security Testing:
- Experience using security testing and vulnerability assessment tools.
- Understanding of application security principles and secure software development practices.
- Experience identifying vulnerabilities and validating remediation efforts.
- Knowledge of OWASP principles and common application security risks.
Automation & Development:
- Strong programming skills in at least one Object-Oriented Programming language (C#, Java, Python, or similar).
- Experience building and maintaining automated testing frameworks.
- Ability to develop custom testing utilities and automation scripts.
DevOps & Cloud:
- Strong experience with Azure DevOps.
- Experience configuring and maintaining Azure DevOps Pipelines.
- Familiarity with CI/CD practices and automated quality gates.
- Experience working within cloud-based environments.
