We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Fullstack Engineer to join our Growth team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development and enhancement of our Referral and Loyalty Program, playing a pivotal part in expanding MoonPay’s user base and engagement. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in backend and frontend development, with a passion for building scalable, high-quality applications in a fast-paced environment. This position supports visa sponsorship and relocation to the UK, with remote work options available from the UK, Poland, South Africa, Spain, Portugal, or Romania. If outside these regions, relocation will be required. Qualifications

The successful candidate will possess extensive experience as a backend engineer, preferably within startup or rapidly growing tech environments. Strong proficiency in TypeScript, React, NextJS, Node.js, and cloud platforms such as Google Cloud, AWS, or Azure is essential. A deep understanding of database structures, principles, and best practices is required, along with the ability to develop, deploy, and maintain server applications confidently. Experience with open-source contributions or familiarity with Web3 technologies is advantageous. The candidate should demonstrate entrepreneurial spirit, a keen interest in data-driven experimentation, and the capability to adapt quickly to new technologies and challenges. Relevant educational backgrounds in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related fields are preferred.

Responsibilities

Design and develop new features and enhance existing functionalities within our Referral and Loyalty Program, ensuring they align with business objectives and user needs. Collaborate closely with Product Managers to devise optimal solutions and implementation strategies for new features or modifications. Work cross-functionally with other product teams to deliver seamless customer-facing features, ensuring high performance, reliability, and security. Participate in project planning, effort estimation, and execution, contributing to the overall product roadmap. Integrate with external service providers to facilitate smooth operations and data exchange. Maintain and improve the existing codebase, ensuring code quality through rigorous testing and adherence to best practices. Write scalable, performant, and well-documented code, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
