Good Sense & Co. is seeking a highly organized and relationship-driven Resourcing Manager to lead the strategic planning and deployment of talent across its production portfolio. This is a critical operational role responsible for matching the right people, crew, freelancers, and internal staff to the right projects at the right time. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-moving, creative environment and brings a deep understanding of the experiential production ecosystem.

Strategic Planning & Leadership Collaboration
• Work with C-Suite on strategy for staffing and hiring (seasonally and for permanent roles)
• Develop and refine staffing strategies that align with company growth and project pipeline
Talent & Crew Management

• Build, maintain, and continuously expand a robust roster of vetted freelance production talent including Producers, Production Managers, Creative Directors, Designers, Technicians, and more
• Help to seek out and build relationships with potential new freelancers in roles where a deeper bench is needed
• Serve as the primary point of contact for all freelance talent relationships, managing onboarding, scheduling, rate negotiations, and re-engagement
• Develop and oversee a centralized talent database (Freelance Tracker), ensuring accurate availability, rate, and skill information at all times
Project Resourcing & Scheduling
• Partner with Executive Producers, Project Managers, and Department Heads to understand project scope and staffing requirements from pitch through wrap
• Collaborate on and help manage project staffing plans across multiple simultaneous productions, balancing workload and budget constraints
• Maintain staffing R&R (Rate & Resource) trackers for each project along with budget holders
• Proactively identify resourcing conflicts and resolve them before they impact production timelines
• Track crew utilization and flag over- or under-resourcing risks in real time
Offer Creation & Onboarding Coordination
• Work with budget holders on creating and sending staff offers, including rate negotiations
• Once offers are accepted, liaise with Staffing Coordinator and Financial Controller to ensure onboarding paperwork and contracts are sent promptly
• Monitor freelance staff responses to ensure that all NDAs and contracts are signed ahead of being on site
• Alert producers immediately if NDAs or contracts are not signed, so that physical copies can be printed on-site when the staff member arrives
Operations & Systems
• Evaluate current SOPs for crew booking, confirmations, callsheets, and post-project feedback and liaise with team to refine as needed
• Produce regular resourcing reports for leadership
• Manage and maintain the Freelance Tracker and R&R tracker systems

Qualifications
Required:
• 4–7+ years of resourcing, staffing, or production coordination experience, preferably within experiential, live events, branded entertainment, or agency environments
• Demonstrated ability to manage high volumes of freelance talent across concurrent productions
• Strong command of production workflows, crew roles, and industry-standard rates
• Experience with resourcing or project management software (Float, Airtable, Monday.com, etc.)
• Exceptional organizational, communication, and negotiation skills
• Ability to work calmly and decisively under pressure and tight timelines
• Comfort operating in a remote-first environment with a geographically distributed team
• Passion for live events, experiential design, and creative production
Preferred:
• Prior experience at an agency, production company, or entertainment studio
• Familiarity with union labor rules and non-union crew markets
• Proficiency in budgeting and cost tracking tools
• Experience managing specific systems or databases for talent management and project resourcing
A good faith estimate of salary range is $115,000 – $140,000
