Job Description
About the Role
EngageCX is building a class of Licensed Medicare Benefits Counselors for the upcoming Annual Enrollment season. This is a fast-moving, high-volume recruiting engagement with two sequential class starts — all of which must be licensed, verified, and seated within a compressed 12-week window.
The Contract Recruiter owns the full candidate lifecycle: sourcing, structured phone screening, NPN license validation, interview coordination, and pipeline tracking through start date. This is not a passive posting role — it requires proactive outreach, disciplined daily throughput, and sharp attention to licensing compliance requirements specific to the Medicare space.
You will work directly with the Director of Human Resources, the Director of Operations, and Coordinators who will assist in scheduling and interview support, verifications, and overall process execution.
What You'll Do
- Source licensed Medicare sales agents through job boards (Indeed, LinkedIn, ZipRecruiter), direct outreach, and referral networks — targeting candidates with active Life and Health licenses and 1–2+ years of Medicare experience
- Conduct structured 25-minute recruiter phone screens daily using a defined pre-screen script; evaluate experience, availability, logistics, and role fit for each candidate
- Hit daily screening throughput targets: 8–10 pre-screens per day during the Class 1 sprint window, and 3–4 per day during the Class 2 sprint window.
- Submit qualified candidates to Aptia through the defined submission process and coordinate Aptia interview scheduling logistics
- Maintain the candidate pipeline tracker with same-day disposition updates at every stage (screen, NPN validation, client submission, interview, offer, acceptance)
- Extend verbal offers to approved candidates and confirm acceptance; hand off signed counterparts and compliance docs to the Director of Human Resources
- Build and actively source the Class 2 pipeline in parallel, leveraging candidates in Hold status from Class 1 to reduce gross sourcing volume
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all candidates from initial outreach through their start date — respond to candidate inquiries within the same business day
- Flag pipeline risk to the Director of Human Resources daily — conversion drops, source channel performance, candidate fallout, and any compliance concerns
