• Payout: $25 - $60/hour

Role Overview:

We are hiring for one of our clients, seeking a Cyber Security Analyst to work on a part-time, contract basis. This role involves monitoring security events, analyzing threats, and implementing protective measures across systems and networks to safeguard critical infrastructure. Your expertise will directly contribute to enhancing the security posture of high-performance AI systems and reinforcing trust in digital environments. Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor security events across systems and networks to detect anomalies and potential threats.

• Analyze security threats and vulnerabilities to assess risk and recommend mitigation strategies.

• Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments to ensure compliance with industry standards.

• Develop and communicate clear security policies and procedures to stakeholders.

• Provide timely incident response to security breaches, coordinating with IT teams to minimize impact.

• Support the continuous improvement of security frameworks through feedback and analysis.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience in threat detection, network security, or penetration testing with a proven track record.

• Knowledge of security protocols, firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and encryption technologies.

• Familiarity with conducting risk assessments and implementing security controls in enterprise environments.

• Ability to analyze security logs and interpret threat intelligence to inform decision-making.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills to document policies and report findings to technical and non-technical audiences.

• Prior experience in information security, IT compliance, or a related field is preferred.
