About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Java Full Stack Developer to join our dedicated team remotely within the Continental United States. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise-level web applications and distributed systems that operate at significant scale across various business domains. You will work closely with product managers, architects, DevOps engineers, and fellow developers in an Agile environment to deliver secure, high-performance, and scalable solutions. Your expertise in Java and the Spring ecosystem, combined with modern front-end frameworks such as React, will be instrumental in translating business requirements into robust technical designs. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in software development
• Strong proficiency in Java (versions 11 and 17) and the Spring Boot framework
• Hands-on experience designing and operating microservices architectures
• Proficiency in front-end development using React, with familiarity in Angular or Vue considered a plus
• Solid SQL skills and experience working with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, or SQL Server
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Git-based version control workflows
• Experience deploying applications on major cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Excellent debugging, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis skills
• Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and system design principles

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and continually enhance scalable microservices using Java (11/17) and Spring Boot, ensuring each service is independently deployable and observable
• Develop secure, well-tested, and high-quality production code adhering to internal standards and security best practices
• Create responsive, component-based front-end applications utilizing React, Angular, or Vue, with a focus on user experience and accessibility
• Design and implement RESTful APIs and event-driven integrations to connect distributed backend systems, defining clear contracts and versioning strategies
• Participate in architecture and design discussions, providing insights on scalability, resiliency, maintainability, and cost-efficiency
• Profile and optimize application performance, including database queries, JVM tuning, and API throughput
• Implement and maintain robust front-end state management patterns to ensure predictable data flow and ease of debugging
• Develop comprehensive automated tests covering unit, integration, contract, and functional testing using frameworks such as JUnit, Mockito, Jest, and Cypress
• Contribute to CI/CD pipeline automation, enabling fast and reliable deployment processes
• Identify system bottlenecks and architectural weaknesses, proposing and executing effective remediation strategies
• Collaborate within Agile/Scrum teams through sprint planning, daily standups, backlog grooming, demos, and retrospectives
