Senior C# SDET / Software Developer in Test

Fully Remote (UK) | Up to £75,000 + Benefits

We’re looking for a Senior C# Software Developer in Test (SDET) to join a fully remote team, driving Quality Engineering (QE) practices and enabling a strong Shift-Left testing culture across engineering.

You’ll work closely with Software Engineers to embed quality early in the SDLC, improve testability, and promote TDD, automation-first development, and engineering excellence.

The business builds an advanced risk analysis platform that uses open-source intelligence and AI to deliver real-time situational awareness for safer global travel.

As a Senior SDET, you will design and evolve automation frameworks in C#, while helping teams adopt scalable QE practices.

Overview:

• Build and maintain C# automation frameworks (API, integration, UI)
• Drive Shift-Left practices across design, development, and testing
• Embed QE standards for performance, security, reliability, and accessibility
• Support engineers with TDD, test design, and testability improvements
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and quality gates
• Develop test tooling (data generators, validation utilities, automation helpers)
• Define and track quality metrics (defects, coverage, failure rates)
• Ensure reliable, anonymised, production-like test data in environments
• Mentor engineers across Product, DevOps, and Data teams

Skills & Experience:

• Strong experience in C# / .NET test automation
