Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Automation Engineer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test solutions to ensure the delivery of high-quality software products. You will work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to identify testing requirements, improve testing processes, and enhance overall product quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts for web, API, and backend applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and define effective test strategies.
- Create and maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test documentation.
- Identify, document, track, and verify software defects and work closely with development teams to resolve issues.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing and rapid deployments.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, smoke, and end-to-end testing.
- Analyze test results and provide detailed reports on product quality and release readiness.
- Continuously improve automation frameworks, testing methodologies, and quality processes.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and release activities.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in Quality Assurance with a strong focus on test automation.
- Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or TestComplete.
- Strong programming experience in Java, Python, JavaScript, or C#.
- Experience testing RESTful APIs using tools such as Postman, Rest Assured, or similar frameworks.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
- Experience with version control systems such as Git.
- Solid understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
