Database Administrator (DBA) | 100% Remote
We're hiring a Junior DBA to join a collaborative data engineering team supporting the design, implementation, and maintenance of enterprise-scale database solutions. This is a fully remote, entry-level opportunity ideal for candidates looking to build their database career in a structured, technical environment.
What You'll Do:
- Implement and maintain one or more complex databases, supporting architecture design, prototyping, and data solution delivery
- Assist with the planning and engineering of the organization's database environment
- Monitor database performance, scalability, and security across environments
- Evaluate existing database designs to identify necessary updates and integration requirements
- Support development, testing, and debugging of data solutions that meet organizational design standards
- Assist with installation, maintenance, and administration of Oracle databases

Required Qualifications:
- Experience configuring, integrating, and securing database offerings (e.g., RDS, Aurora, Cassandra, DynamoDB)
- Ability to design and develop complex SQL queries and reports
- Experience with Database Schema as Code tools
- Experience supporting Linux systems in a system design, development, or administration capacity
- Familiarity with database partitioning and microservices concepts
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies or the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Experience with a complex build system
- Oracle DBMS experience required — other DBMS cannot be supported for this position
