Job Description
Our client are a global consulting firm, they are on the lookout for a Linux System Administrator to come in on a contract basis.
Key Skills/Requirements:
- OS Expertise: experience in enterprise Linux systems administration, including deep knowledge of Kernel configurations, file systems, security hardening, and performance tuning
- Good understanding of Docker architecture and microservice patterns.
- Experience using Portainer to manage container endpoints, stacks, images, and volumes.
- Proficiency in Bash and Python for automation, log parsing, and API integrations.
- Experience with public key infrastructure (PKI), OpenSSL, and automated certificate tools.
- Experience configuring secure file transfer protocols (SFTP) using tools like OpenSSH along with strong network security fundamentals.
