Application Integration Architect
We are seeking a highly experienced Application Integration Architect to join our company. In this role, you will lead the design and implementation of enterprise integration solutions across real-time, batch, and streaming platforms. You will be responsible for defining scalable, secure, and resilient integration architectures leveraging MuleSoft, Kong API Gateway, Informatica IDMC, and Kafka. If you have strong architectural leadership, hands-on expertise in modern integration patterns, and the ability to align integration strategy with enterprise data and application ecosystems, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities
- Define and implement enterprise integration architecture across API, batch, and streaming paradigms
- Design API-led connectivity architectures using MuleSoft and REST/GraphQL standards
- Establish integration patterns including event-driven, message-based, and batch processing architectures
- Architect secure and scalable API ecosystems using Kong (API Gateway/Management)
- Lead development and governance of integrations across MuleSoft (Anypoint Platform), Kafka, and Informatica IDMC
- Drive alignment with enterprise integration standards, frameworks, and reusable assets
- Oversee end-to-end integration solution delivery across multiple teams and platforms
- Ensure implementation of best practices in CI/CD for integration services, monitoring, logging, and observability, and error handling and resiliency patterns
- Collaborate with product teams, data engineers, and application architects to translate requirements into scalable solutions
- Establish API governance covering security, versioning, lifecycle, and documentation
- Enforce standards for authentication and authorization (OAuth2, JWT, etc.)
- Maintain integration catalogs, runbooks, and architecture artifacts
- Drive adoption of reusable integration frameworks and patterns
- Evaluate emerging integration technologies and recommend adoption strategies
- Lead architecture reviews, POCs, and modernization initiatives
- Contribute to enterprise-wide transformation toward event-driven and API-first architecture

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Minimum 6+ years of experience in architecture roles focused on application and data integration
- Strong experience in both real-time integration (APIs, events, streaming) and batch integration (ETL/ELT, data pipelines)
- MuleSoft Anypoint Platform (API design, RAML/OpenAPI, API-led connectivity)
- Kong API Gateway / API Management
- Apache Kafka / Confluent (event streaming, pub-sub patterns)
