Wellmatix is seeking talented and motivated AI Developers to join our growing team in Busan, South Korea. We welcome applications from both experienced professionals and students who are expected to graduate by August 2026.

We are looking for individuals with a strong foundation in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, particularly in Large Language Models (LLMs), Reinforcement Learning, and Agentic AI systems. Candidates from diverse academic, research, and industry backgrounds are encouraged to apply.

As part of Wellmatix, you will contribute to the development of next-generation AI solutions spanning intelligent agents, LLM-powered systems, scientific AI, and AI-driven discovery platforms for therapeutics and advanced technologies.



Eligibility

·      Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, Computational Science, or a related field.

·      Students expected to graduate by Aug 2026 are encouraged to apply.

·      Candidates with academic, research, or industry experience are welcome.

·      F-visa holders are eligible to apply.

·      Visa sponsorship is available for qualified international candidates.



Required Skills

·      Strong understanding of Large Language Models (LLMs) and Generative AI technologies.

·      Practical knowledge of Reinforcement Learning concepts and applications.

·      Understanding of Agentic AI, autonomous agents, and multi-agent systems.

·      Programming proficiency in Python and modern AI/ML frameworks.

·      Familiarity with AI model development, evaluation, deployment, and optimization.

·      Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

·      Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.



Preferred Qualifications

·      Experience with LLM fine-tuning, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), AI agents, reinforcement learning, or agentic workflows.

·      Research publications, open-source contributions, internships, or relevant industry experience.

·      Knowledge of MLOps, cloud platforms, model deployment, and scalable AI systems.

·      Background knowledge in Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, Life Sciences is a strong plus.

·      Experience working on scientific AI applications is highly desirable.
