Job Description


This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a SEO & AEO Manager based in India.

This is a high-impact, strategic role focused on driving organic growth across traditional search engines and emerging AI-driven discovery platforms. You will shape how a leading global SaaS brand is discovered across Google, AI Overviews, conversational engines, and community-driven ecosystems. The role blends SEO, AEO, content strategy, technical optimization, and authority-building into a single growth function. You will be responsible for identifying high-leverage opportunities that drive measurable business impact rather than volume-based content output. Working in a fully distributed global environment, you will collaborate closely with content, product marketing, and engineering teams. This is an ideal role for a data-driven strategist who understands the evolution of search and how AI is reshaping discovery.

Accountabilities

  • Define and execute a comprehensive SEO and AEO strategy to increase organic visibility across Google, AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Gemini, and other conversational and AI-powered discovery platforms
  • Identify high-impact keyword and content opportunities, prioritizing business value and conversion potential over volume-driven publishing
  • Develop and scale topical authority across nonprofit fundraising, donor engagement, CRM, events, and fundraising technology ecosystems
  • Lead technical SEO initiatives including site architecture, internal linking, structured data, crawlability, indexation, and Core Web Vitals optimization in collaboration with engineering teams
  • Drive international and multilingual SEO performance across key regions including the US, Europe, and Australia, including Spanish, French, and Dutch markets
  • Own off-page SEO and authority-building strategies including PR, backlink acquisition, community engagement, and brand mentions across forums, Reddit, Quora, YouTube, and LinkedIn
  • Monitor, analyze, and optimize organic performance across rankings, AI visibility, traffic, conversions, and revenue impact

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in SEO, organic growth, content strategy, or related digital marketing roles
  • Proven experience scaling organic growth for SaaS, tech, or high-growth digital businesses
  • Strong expertise in technical SEO, content strategy, keyword research, semantic SEO, and search intent optimization
  • Deep understanding of AI-driven search evolution, including AEO, AI Overviews, and conversational search platforms
  • Experience working on international and multilingual SEO strategies across multiple regions
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable growth strategies
  • Experience with SEO tools such as Google Search Console, GA4, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, or similar platforms
  • Proven ability to build authority through off-page SEO, PR, and community-driven growth strategies
  • Strong communication skills, strategic thinking, and ability to prioritize high-leverage opportunities (80/20 mindset)
