Role Overview


We are seeking a commercially driven and visionary Chief Revenue Officer to lead and scale our revenue function. The CRO will own the full revenue lifecycle — from demand generation and sales to account management and strategic partnerships — and will be a key member of the executive leadership team.


Key Responsibilities


Define and execute the company’s overall revenue strategy aligned with business growth targets

Lead, mentor, and scale the sales, business development, and customer success teams

Drive new customer acquisition across B2B, enterprise, and/or government segments in the energy sector

Build and manage a robust sales pipeline with accurate forecasting and reporting to the CEO/Board

Develop pricing strategies, go-to-market plans, and revenue models for new and existing products/services

Forge strategic partnerships with utilities, energy firms, distributors, and institutional clients

Align revenue operations with marketing, product, and finance teams

Establish KPIs, OKRs, and revenue dashboards to track performance and accountability

Represent the company in client-facing executive meetings, industry conferences, and investor conversations


Requirements


• 25+ years of progressive experience in sales or commercial leadership roles

Minimum 10-15 years in a senior revenue leadership position (VP Sales, CRO, or equivalent)

Proven track record of driving significant revenue growth in the energy, cleantech, utilities, or infrastructure sector

Strong experience with B2B enterprise sales cycles and complex deal structures

Demonstrated ability to build and scale high-performing revenue teams

Deep understanding of energy market dynamics, regulatory landscape, and customer buying behavior

Exceptional communication, negotiation, and executive presence

Experience working with CRMs (Salesforce, HubSpot) and revenue analytics tools

Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred
