Job Description

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Performance Marketing Manager based in the United States.

This role is a high-impact performance marketing position focused on scaling customer acquisition through data-driven paid media strategies.

You will take full ownership of core acquisition channels, with a strong emphasis on paid search, and be responsible for turning media spend into efficient, scalable, and profitable growth.

The position blends hands-on execution with strategic optimization, requiring deep platform expertise and strong analytical thinking.

You will work closely with marketing leadership to identify growth opportunities, refine funnel performance, and test new acquisition channels.

A key part of the role includes expanding into paid social, building it into a meaningful growth engine.

This is an operator-style role suited for someone who thrives in the details of campaign performance, experimentation, and optimization.

You will play a central role in improving unit economics and driving measurable revenue impact for a fast-growing digital business.

Accountabilities

Own and optimize performance marketing channels to drive efficient customer acquisition and revenue growth:

  • Manage end-to-end performance across Google Ads and Microsoft Ads, including structure, bidding strategies, keywords, audiences, and creative testing.
  • Optimize campaigns to balance scale and efficiency, ensuring strong CAC, LTV, and payback performance.
  • Build and maintain reporting systems and dashboards to track spend, funnel performance, and key unit economics.
  • Lead experimentation and continuous optimization across campaigns, landing pages, and conversion funnels.
  • Use AI tools to enhance campaign analysis, reporting, audits, and creative iteration.
  • Develop and launch paid social channels (starting with Meta), including testing frameworks and performance evaluation.
  • Partner with marketing leadership to define strategy, evaluate growth opportunities, and prioritize acquisition channels.
  • Communicate performance insights, trade-offs, and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ensure disciplined budget management and alignment with business growth objectives.

Requirements

The ideal candidate is a hands-on performance marketing expert with strong technical, analytical, and execution skills:

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in performance marketing, with deep expertise in Google Ads.
  • Proven ownership of $1.2M+ annual paid media budgets with demonstrated success in scaling efficiently.
  • Strong understanding of CAC, LTV, payback periods, attribution, and funnel conversion dynamics.
  • Experience building and managing paid social campaigns, ideally including Meta platforms.
  • Background in B2C subscription or freemium models is strongly preferred.
  • High proficiency in data analysis and reporting, with ability to build dashboards and track performance independently.
  • Experience using AI tools as part of daily workflow for optimization and analysis.
  • Comfortable working independently in fast-paced, ambiguous environments with high ownership.
  • Strong communication skills with ability to present insights and trade-offs clearly across teams.
  • Nice to have: SQL, BigQuery, Looker Studio, CRO/landing page optimization, or attribution tooling experience.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary range: $110,000 - $125,000/year.
  • Equity/stock options as part of the compensation package.
  • Fully remote work with flexible scheduling.
  • Unlimited PTO, paid holidays, sick leave, and strong parental leave policies.
  • Comprehensive healthcare coverage (medical, dental, vision, and life insurance).
  • 401(k) retirement plan with employer match.
  • Wellness, internet, and education stipends to support professional and personal growth.
  • Equipment provided (Apple or PC of your choice).
  • Supportive, mission-driven culture focused on improving outcomes for job seekers.
