What You Will Do
Join Johnson Controls as an Engineering Automation & Design Review Specialist, where you’ll help improve how engineering teams review, validate, and release product designs.
In this role, you’ll analyze design review data, identify recurring issues, and build workflows, dashboards, and validation approaches that improve design quality and speed. You’ll work at the intersection of engineering, data, and automation, helping teams make smarter decisions and continuously improve.
This is a great opportunity for someone with Creo and PLM experience who enjoys problem-solving, working with data, and driving process improvements.
Location: this position is based at our Advanced Engineering and Development Center in New Freedom, PA. Candidates must be commuting distance to the facility, or able to relocate. Various relocation packages are available.

- Analyze design review data (CoLab, AutoReview, etc.) to identify trends, risks, and recurring issues
- Define and track key metrics (cycle time, defects, rework, etc.)
- Build dashboards and visualizations to support engineering decisions
- Develop and implement feedback loops to improve design standards and workflows
- Translate engineering standards into checklists, templates, and validation logic
- Support and refine automation and rule-based validation approaches
- Partner with engineering, quality, and PLM teams to improve review processes
- Align design review outputs with Creo and Windchill data structures
- Contribute to change management processes (ECR/ECN)
- Create training materials and guidance to support adoption

What you will bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Creo (3D & 2D modeling and design)
- Experience with Windchill or similar PLM system
- Experience with design reviews, process improvement, or engineering analysis
- US Citizen and/or Permanent Resident
