Position Overview:

The Business Analyst will play a critical role in bridging the gap between our business and technical teams. You will be responsible for understanding business requirements, analyzing processes, and providing solutions that enhance our travel-related products and services. This role requires a deep understanding of the travel industry, including booking systems, travel policies, and customer needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements, ensuring they are clear, complete, and actionable.
• Process Analysis: Analyze current business processes and workflows within the travel domain, identifying areas for improvement and optimization.
• Solution Design: Develop and propose solutions that meet business needs, align with industry standards, and enhance customer experience.
• Data Analysis: Utilize data analytics to provide insights into business performance and identify trends and opportunities within the travel sector.
• Stakeholder Communication: Act as a liaison between business and technical teams, ensuring effective communication and understanding of project goals and requirements.
• Documentation: Create detailed documentation, including use cases, process flows, functional specifications, and user stories.
• Quality Assurance: Work closely with QA teams to ensure that delivered solutions meet the specified requirements and standards.
• Market Research: Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in the travel industry, and incorporate this knowledge into business strategies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in the travel domain.
• Strong understanding of travel industry standards, booking systems, and travel policies.
• Proficiency in business analysis techniques, including requirements gathering, process mapping, and data analysis.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and tools such as JIRA or Trello.
• Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with corporate travel management solutions.
• Knowledge of travel content integration (e.g., GDS, NDC).
• Familiarity with UI/UX principles and experience working with design teams.
