Job Description


This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Technical Recruiting Manager based in Canada.

This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for scaling and elevating a world-class technical recruiting function in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment. You will lead a team of recruiters focused on hiring top engineering, data, and technical talent while ensuring speed, quality, and consistency across the entire hiring funnel. The role blends people leadership, operational rigor, and strategic partnership with senior stakeholders to shape hiring plans and execution. You will be accountable for building scalable recruiting systems, improving processes, and driving data-informed decision-making. In addition to team leadership, you will directly influence complex searches and high-priority hires. This is a role for someone who thrives in high-velocity environments and is motivated by building teams that deliver exceptional talent outcomes.

Accountabilities

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of technical recruiters, raising the bar on sourcing quality, candidate experience, and closing effectiveness.
  • Own delivery of high-priority technical and engineering roles, stepping into complex searches when needed.
  • Partner with executives and hiring managers to define hiring needs, calibrate role requirements, and adjust hiring plans.
  • Optimize recruiting processes, tools, dashboards, and workflows to improve speed, accuracy, and pipeline visibility.
  • Drive data-informed decision-making by analyzing recruiting metrics, pipeline health, and team performance.
  • Build a high-performance recruiting culture focused on feedback, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Coordinate cross-functional alignment to ensure hiring strategies support business priorities and growth targets.
  • Ensure consistent execution of structured, high-quality hiring processes across all technical roles.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of technical recruiting experience, including at least 2+ years in a management or team leadership role.
  • Proven success hiring for complex technical roles in high-growth, fast-paced environments.
  • Strong experience coaching recruiters and improving team-wide execution quality.
  • Deep understanding of recruiting operations, metrics, and talent acquisition systems.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with experience partnering with executives and senior leaders.
  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution when needed.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence across distributed and cross-functional teams.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
