Job Description
Role Description The Director of Information Operations is a full-time remote role responsible for overseeing how information is collected, organized, secured, and used across the company. This role leads the design and implementation of information management frameworks, ensures accurate records management, and aligns information operations with business and technology strategies. Daily responsibilities include supervising information operations teams, defining and monitoring operational KPIs, improving workflows and data governance policies, and partnering with IT to maintain secure and efficient systems. The Director will collaborate with leadership to support decision-making through reliable data, coordinate cross-functional projects, and ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills, including the ability to interpret complex data, identify trends, and make evidence-based decisions.
- Candidates should possess expertise in Information Management, with experience in data governance, information lifecycle management, and policy development.
- Candidates should possess proficiency in Records Management, including classification, retention policies, archiving, and compliance with applicable regulations.
- Candidates should possess solid Information Technology knowledge, with familiarity in enterprise systems, security practices, and integration with operational processes.
- Candidates should possess effective Team Management skills, including leading distributed teams, mentoring staff, and coordinating cross-functional initiatives.
- Advanced communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams.
- Experience in technology, security, or broadcast/streaming environments is highly beneficial.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Management, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL, PMP, data governance) are an advantage.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently in a remote setting, prioritize multiple projects, and adapt to evolving business needs.
