Bradley Professional is seeking a Power BI Data Analyst for a company located in Charlotte, NC. This is a Contract role and is fully Remote!
The Data Analyst will be a self-directed consultant that will design, build and maintain automated reporting systems that replace manual Excel and Powerpoint reporting processes.
This role will focus heavily on transforming cost savings program reporting into scalable, automated Power BI dashboards. The initial work is build focused, with long term responsibilities transitioning into light maintenance of established systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement automated data pipelines pulling from SQL databases, Dataverse and Excel Based sources
- Build and maintain Power BI data models, dashboards and KPI reporting
- Replace manual reporting (Excel/PPT) with scalable, refreshable dashboard solutions
- Structure and document data transformations (Power Query, DAX, SQL where needed)
- Ensure data integrity and reliability across multiple data sources
- Support leadership reporting needs across: Cost Program Manager, Finance and R&D Leadership
- Perform light ad-hoc reporting or presentation support when needed (primarily as bridge to automation)
- Partner with stakeholders to refine reporting outputs (layout generally defined, but improvements encouraged)

Primary Deliverables
- Phase 1-Data Foundation: Establish data connections and movement between systems (SQL, Dataverse, Excel) Ensure use of approved enterprise gateways and secure data access
- Phase 2-Reporting & Dashboards: Build core dashboards for Value Engineering Programs. Initial focus on 2-3 reporting structures, with expansion over time.
- Phase 3-Stabilization & Maintenance: ensure dashboards are automated, documented and require minimal intervention
- Phase 4-Steady Share: Transition to lightweight support and enhancement work as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Strong experience with Power BI (data modeling, DAX, dashboards, refresh troubleshooting)
- Advanced Excel skills (Power Query/data transformation)
- Experience working with SQL based data sources
- Ability to integrate and manage data across multiple systems
- Self directed work style with strong ownership and communication habits
- Comfortable operating in a loosely structured, evolving reporting environment.
