Job Description:

Opening for a Senior Data Scientist with a supply chain optimization focus in South Florida. What makes this one different: it's not a model-builder role. The client needs someone who can deploy to production AND present to VP-level stakeholders well enough to drive adoption of data science products. They've already screened multiple candidates and passed on all of them for soft skills and weak business impact storytelling.

Qualification

· Production ML deployment — models live, in use by real end users (not prototypes)

· Supply chain domain — demand forecasting, logistics, or optimization; automotive a plus

· Azure stack — Azure ML, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure AI Foundry

· Executive communication — must be credible presenting to non-technical VPs and driving adoption

The bar for soft skills is high. If your candidate can't speak to quantifiable business impact in dollar terms and isn't comfortable in a room with senior leadership, they will not survive the interview.

Before we present anyone to the client, we need two quick pre-screen answers documented — non-negotiable:

1. How do you prioritize competing data science use cases when multiple senior leaders are all pushing for their projects first?

2. Describe a DS model you built that went to production and drove measurable business impact — what was the dollar value?
