Position: Data Analyst (A/B Testing & Experimentation)

Total Annual Package: Up to AED 348,000 (Tax-Free) + comprehensive benefits

• Base: AED 20,000 – 25,000/month (AED 240,000 – 300,000/year)

• Performance bonus: up to 10% of base, paid monthly

Location: Dubai, UAE (On-site) with relocation assistance and visa support

About the Role:

If you spend your days running A/B tests, analyzing conversion funnels, and digging into why users drop off before checkout — and you write your own SQL and Python to get those answers — this role is built for you. General analysts and program managers without hands-on technical and experimentation skills won't be a fit.

You'll own Puffy's experimentation program from hypothesis to business recommendation. You pull data from Shopify, GA4, Google Ads, and BigQuery yourself. You design the test, run the statistical analysis, and tell the business what to change and why. Every recommendation you deliver has to be clear enough that marketing, UX, and development can act on it the same week.

You'll be involved in more A/B tests, conversion analyses, and data pipeline builds in your first year than most analysts see in three. You'll work across departments — marketing, UX, development, operations — which means broader context and faster pattern recognition. When a test wins or loses, your analysis is the reason leadership moves. You'll build the instinct to separate signal from noise across segments, devices, and traffic sources — and the communication skills to make non-technical stakeholders act on what you find.

What You'll Need:

1. 3+ years in data analysis, experimentation, or CRO within e-commerce, D2C, or any high-traffic transactional website (fintech, marketplaces, SaaS, banking)
2. Strong SQL — complex joins, window functions, CTEs across large datasets without relying on pre-built dashboards
3. Working Python (or R) for data manipulation, statistical analysis, and automation
4. Proven A/B testing experience — hypothesis design through statistical analysis to business recommendation; solid grasp of sample sizing, significance thresholds, and common pitfalls
5. Hands-on GA4 experience — event-based tracking, custom explorations, and the ability to tie GA4 data to other sources
6. Experience integrating ad platform data (Google Ads, Meta) with site analytics to see the full acquisition-to-conversion funnel
7. Ability to independently connect to and pull from multiple data sources (APIs, warehouses, flat files) without engineering support
8. Sharp analytical communication — complex findings distilled into concise recommendations for non-technical stakeholders
9. Proactive and curious — you spot testing opportunities and chase root causes before anyone asks

Good-to-Have:

1. Experience with BigQuery or AWS data warehousing, including scheduled queries and data modeling
2. Familiarity with session replay and heatmap tools (FullStory, Hotjar) for qualitative behavioral analysis
3. Background in Looker, Tableau, or similar dashboarding tools
