About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and analytical Industrial Engineer to join our growing team. This role is ideal for recent graduates and early-career professionals who are passionate about process optimization, operational efficiency, data analytics, and continuous improvement. While associated with our Alpharetta, GA office, this position is fully remote.The ideal candidate will apply engineering principles and data-driven methodologies to improve business operations, optimize workflows, enhance productivity, and support operational planning initiatives across various functional areas.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect, analyze, and interpret operational and business data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop reports, dashboards, and performance metrics to track productivity, resource utilization, process efficiency, and operational performance.
  • Conduct process mapping, workflow analysis, time studies, and capacity planning to support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Operations, Engineering, IT, Procurement, Logistics, and Finance to drive process enhancements.
  • Identify bottlenecks and recommend solutions to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and optimize resource allocation.
  • Support forecasting, operational planning, and performance analysis using historical and real-time data.
  • Assist with process automation, system integration, and ERP data validation activities.
  • Participate in Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement projects to enhance operational excellence.


Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Operations Management, Business Analytics, or a related field.
  • 1โ€“3 years of experience in Industrial Engineering, Operations Analysis, Process Improvement, Manufacturing, or a related role.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis techniques.
  • Experience with SQL and business intelligence tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Understanding of process optimization, workflow improvement, and operational performance management.


Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar platforms.
  • Exposure to Python, R, VBA, or other automation and data analysis tools.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, or Continuous Improvement methodologies.
  • Familiarity with inventory management, capacity planning, forecasting, and operational excellence practices.
  • Internship, co-op, or project experience in engineering, operations, manufacturing, logistics, or process improvement is a plus.
