Contract: 12 months (subject to extension).

Your Profile & DNA:

We are seeking an experienced Azure Platform Cloud Engineer to support the design, implementation, and management of enterprise cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Azure Infrastructure, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Azure DevOps, cloud networking, automation, and platform operations. You will work closely with infrastructure, application, and DevOps teams to build secure, scalable, and highly available Azure environments while ensuring operational excellence.

Roles & Responsibilities

Azure Platform Engineering

• Design, deploy, and manage enterprise Azure infrastructure.
• Configure and maintain Azure IaaS and PaaS services.
• Ensure cloud environments are secure, scalable, resilient, and highly available.
• Support infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and optimization initiatives.

Infrastructure as Code (IaC)

• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using:
• Terraform
• ARM Templates
• Azure Bicep
• Automate infrastructure provisioning across multiple environments.
• Develop reusable infrastructure modules and deployment templates.
• Maintain version-controlled infrastructure code.

Azure DevOps & CI/CD

• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
• Automate infrastructure deployments and configuration management.
• Support continuous integration and continuous deployment practices.
• Improve deployment reliability through automation and standardization.

Azure Networking

• Design, configure, and troubleshoot Azure networking components, including:
• Virtual Networks (VNet)
• Network Security Groups (NSG)
• Load Balancers
• VPN Gateways
• Network routing and connectivity
• Ensure secure and optimized network architecture.

Compute & Storage Management

• Deploy and manage Azure compute services and storage solutions.
• Monitor resource utilization and optimize cloud performance.
• Support backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity initiatives.

Monitoring & Operations

• Implement monitoring and observability using:
• Azure Monitor
• Log Analytics
• Application Insights
• Monitor cloud infrastructure health and performance.

• Troubleshoot production issues and optimize platform reliability.
• Develop dashboards, alerts, and operational reports.

Identity & Security

• Configure and manage Azure Active Directory (Microsoft Entra ID).
• Implement Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) and identity governance.
• Apply cloud security best practices and compliance standards.
• Support identity and access management across Azure environments.

Automation & Scripting

• Develop automation scripts using:
• PowerShell
• Python
• Bash
• Automate routine operational tasks and infrastructure management.
• Improve operational efficiency through scripting and automation.

Collaboration

• Work closely with Cloud Architects, DevOps Engineers, Infrastructure teams, and Application teams.
• Participate in technical discussions, design reviews, and implementation planning.
• Document infrastructure designs, operational procedures, and deployment standards.
• Provide technical support and knowledge sharing within the team.

Qualification & Experience

• A Bachelor's or Master's Degree or equivalent.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Microsoft Azure Platform Engineering or Cloud Infrastructure.
• Strong hands-on experience with: Microsoft Azure (IaaS & PaaS), Azure Infrastructure
• Expertise in Infrastructure as Code using: Terraform, ARM Templates, Azure Bicep
• Experience building and managing Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong knowledge of Azure networking, including: Virtual Networks (VNet), Network Security Groups (NSG), Load Balancers, VPN
• Experience managing Azure compute and storage services.
• Proficiency in scripting using: PowerShell, Python, Bash
• Experience with Azure monitoring tools: Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights
• Strong understanding of Azure Active Directory (Microsoft Entra ID) and Identity & Access Management (IAM).
• Basic understanding of container technologies, including: Docker, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) (preferred)
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
