Contract: 12 months (subject to extension).

Your Profile & DNA:

We are seeking an experienced Azure CI/CD Infrastructure Expert to design, implement, and optimize cloud infrastructure and automated deployment pipelines on Microsoft Azure.

The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in Azure Infrastructure, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), DevSecOps, and Cloud Automation. You will be responsible for building secure, scalable, and highly available cloud environments while enabling seamless and reliable software delivery through modern CI/CD practices.

Roles & Responsibilities

CI/CD Pipeline Engineering

• Design, build, and maintain end-to-end CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions.
• Automate application build, testing, deployment, and release processes across multiple environments.
• Implement deployment strategies including blue-green, rolling, and canary deployments where applicable.
• Optimize pipeline performance, reliability, and deployment efficiency.
• Develop automated rollback and recovery mechanisms.
• Continuously improve software delivery processes through automation and best practices.

Azure Infrastructure Engineering

• Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure.
• Administer and optimize Azure services including:
• Virtual Machines
• Azure App Services
• Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
• Virtual Networks (VNet)
• Network Security Groups (NSG)
• Load Balancers

• Azure Storage
• Azure SQL Database and other Azure data services
• Ensure infrastructure is scalable, resilient, secure, and highly available.
• Implement disaster recovery and business continuity strategies.

Infrastructure as Code (IaC)

• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using:
• Terraform
• Azure Bicep
• ARM Templates
• Automate infrastructure provisioning across Development, QA, UAT, and Production environments.
• Maintain version-controlled infrastructure repositories.
• Promote reusable infrastructure modules and standardized deployment practices.

DevOps Automation & Integration

• Integrate cloud infrastructure with CI/CD pipelines for automated application deployments.
• Implement deployment automation and release orchestration.
• Reduce manual intervention through scripting and infrastructure automation.
• Collaborate with development teams to streamline software delivery processes.
• Support containerized deployments and Kubernetes-based application delivery.

Monitoring, Reliability & Performance

• Implement monitoring and observability solutions using:
• Azure Monitor
• Log Analytics
• Application Insights
• Monitor application and infrastructure health.
• Investigate and resolve infrastructure, deployment, and performance issues.

• Optimize system availability, reliability, and operational efficiency.
• Develop proactive alerting and monitoring dashboards.

Security, Compliance & Governance

• Implement DevSecOps practices throughout CI/CD pipelines.
• Integrate automated security scanning into build and release workflows.
• Manage identity and access using:
• Azure Active Directory (Azure AD)
• Role-Based Access Control (RBAC)
• Apply cloud governance policies and security best practices.
• Ensure compliance with enterprise security standards and regulatory requirements.
• Support vulnerability management and remediation activities.

Collaboration & Enablement

• Work closely with:
• Software Development teams
• Platform Engineering teams
• Cloud Architects
• Operations teams
• Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) teams
• Support development teams in adopting CI/CD best practices.
• Provide technical guidance on Azure infrastructure and deployment automation.
• Document infrastructure designs, deployment standards, and operational procedures.
• Participate in architecture discussions and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualification & Experience

• A Bachelor's or Master's Degree or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience in Azure Infrastructure, DevOps, or Cloud Engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience with: Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions
• Extensive experience managing Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure.
• Expertise in Infrastructure as Code using: Terraform, Bicep, ARM Templates
• Experience with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
• Strong knowledge of Azure networking and security services.
• Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines for enterprise applications.
• Hands-on experience with scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
• Experience with Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights.
• Good understanding of DevSecOps principles and security automation.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies including Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
