We're partnering with a well-funded, high-growth AI startup that is transforming finance operations through intelligent automation. We're seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to build scalable backend systems and AI-powered products that help CFOs and finance teams automate complex accounting workflows
We're looking for a Senior Software Engineer (4–7 years) to build scalable backend systems and AI-powered financial products.

Location: New York City (On-site, 5 days/week) Employment Type| Full-time
Compensation:$180K–$250K + Equity
Visa Sponsorship OPT, H-1B transfer,H-1B sponsorship available.

Requirements:
• 4–7 years of backend/infrastructure engineering with Python
• Experience building distributed systems, workflow engines, APIs, and financial data pipelines
• Background in FinTech, Accounting, ERP, Payments, or Ledger Systems
• Early-stage VC-backed startup experience (Pre-Seed to Series B)
• Proficiency with Cursor, Claude Code, Codex, or similar AI coding tools
• Experience with AWS, React, NetSuite, QuickBooks, and Sage Intacct is a plus
• Proven track record of shipping high-impact production systems

What You'll Do:
• Own end-to-end finance modules (Revenue, Cash, Close, Reporting)
• Build AI-powered backend infrastructure and enterprise integrations
• Develop reliable AI agents with guardrails and observability
• Work directly with customers to solve real business problems
• Contribute across backend, AI, cloud, and full-stack engineering
