POSITION: Remote Asp.NET Core 8.0 Fullstack Developer - (React/Next with some AI exposure)
Location: Pakistan (Fully Remote)
Work Schedule: 10 am to 7 pm (as per PK time)
Client: Australia–based Startup

Salary: USD 1,500 – 1,800 (Tax-Free)

About The Role

The ideal candidate has strong hands-on experience with ASP.NET Core 8.0, Clean Architecture, SQL Server, and modern authentication frameworks, along with exposure to Next.js, AI integrations and cloud-native environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Asp.NET Core 8.0 and Clean Architecture / Onion Architecture
- Implement data access layers using Entity Framework Core (Code First) and manage migrations
- Write and optimize complex SQL Server queries, stored procedures, and database schemas
- Integrate and manage Auth0 for authentication and authorization
- Develop secure, scalable RESTful APIs following best practices
- Collaborate closely with frontend teams (Next.js) and cross-functional stakeholders
- Integrate external AI/ML services via APIs (good to have)
- Work with MCP Server (Model Context Protocol) where required
- Implement unit tests and integration tests for backend components
- Skills on Next.js and AI integrations

- Minimum 5+ years of experience as a Backend .NET Developer
- Strong hands-on experience with .NET 6/7/8 (preferably .NET 8)
- Expertise in Entity Framework Core (Code First) and database migrations
- Strong command over SQL Server, T-SQL, indexing, and performance tuning
- Experience with Auth0 or similar identity/authentication providers
- Solid understanding of Clean Architecture, SOLID principles, and design patterns
- Proven experience building and maintaining REST APIs
- Experience with Azure services (Service Bus, Blob Storage)
- Next.js experience is mandatory
- Proficiency in Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile development
- Familiarity with MCP Server or willingness to learn
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
