Community ManagerFutureHealth UniversityAbout FutureHealth University
OPEN AT GLOBAL LEVEL (WE COULD NOT SET THIS IN THE SETTINGS OFF LINKEDIN)
FutureHealth University is a global learning and innovation community for professionals, entrepreneurs, clinicians, researchers, educators, students, and changemakers who want to explore and shape the future of healthcare in the age of AI.
We focus on future literacy, preventive health, healthspan, human-centered AI, responsible innovation, and practical healthcare transformation.
Our purpose is to help people move from awareness to action: understanding what is changing, exploring what is possible, and co-creating better futures for healthier lives and healthcare systems.
Through public learning events, community sessions, workshops, innovation programs, and collaborative projects, FutureHealth University brings together diverse voices from across the healthcare value chain.
Our guiding principle is simple: humans stay in control, AI becomes a partner, and healthspan becomes a shared goal.
About the Role
We are looking for an entrepreneurial Community Manager who wants to help build and grow FutureHealth University as a global digital-first community.
This is not a traditional corporate role. FutureHealth University is a purpose-driven initiative started by a motivated core team of senior professionals, entrepreneurs, healthcare innovators, AI thinkers, educators, and transformation leaders.
The right person will become part of this core movement and help us build a global learning and innovation community from the ground up.
You will help engage members across disciplines, facilitate conversations, coordinate community activities, support events, create content, and help grow our digital ecosystem.
You will also learn to work with our Exponential Hub system, which will become an important operational engine for community management, outreach, engagement, learning programs, and project development.
This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about healthcare, AI, innovation, community building, and meaningful impact.
It offers the opportunity to become part of a highly professional network and to be involved in future learning programs, workshops, innovation projects, partnerships, and potentially revenue-generating initiatives as the community grows.
Key Responsibilities
As Community Manager, you will help build, activate, and support the FutureHealth University community.
Your responsibilities may include:
- Welcoming, onboarding, and engaging new community members.
- Supporting conversations before, during, and after public learning events.
- Moderating online discussions and helping maintain a positive, inclusive community culture.
- Coordinating community activities, workshops, webinars, and digital events.
- Supporting event preparation, follow-up, communication, and participant engagement.
- Helping manage LinkedIn, YouTube, newsletters, community updates, and other digital channels.
- Creating or coordinating content around healthcare innovation, AI, future literacy, healthspan, and transformation.
- Learning and managing the Exponential Hub system as a core community and engagement platform.
- Supporting outreach to partners, speakers, contributors, students, entrepreneurs, and healthcare professionals.
- Gathering feedback from members and helping improve the community experience.
- Tracking engagement metrics and helping us understand what creates real value.
- Identifying opportunities to connect members with relevant people, resources, programs, or collaborations.
- Potentially facilitating workshops, interviews, community sessions, or learning formats, depending on your strengths and experience.

Who We Are Looking For
We are looking for someone who is proactive, curious, reliable, digitally capable, and entrepreneurial.
You do not need to know everything already. But you do need to be willing to learn, take ownership, communicate clearly, and help build something meaningful.
You may be a good fit if you:
- Are passionate about the future of healthcare, AI, prevention, healthspan, education, innovation, or social impact.
- Enjoy bringing people together and creating a sense of community.
- Are comfortable communicating with professionals from different countries, cultures, and disciplines.
- Like creating content, sharing insights, and making complex topics accessible.
- Are digitally capable and willing to work with community platforms, CRM systems, LinkedIn, YouTube, newsletters, and automation tools.
- Are organized enough to coordinate events, follow-ups, and community activities.
- Can work independently, but also collaborate with a senior international core team.

Location and Working Style
This is a digital-first, remote role.
FutureHealth University is being built as a global learning and innovation community. Our core team, contributors, partners, and future members are located across different countries and time zones. For that reason, collaboration is designed to be remote, international, and digital from the start.
You can be based anywhere in the world, as long as you have the right mindset, attitude, reliability, communication skills, and willingness to learn and contribute.
We are looking for someone who is comfortable working independently, taking initiative, joining online meetings, supporting digital events, managing online community activities, and helping build a professional global ecosystem.
Personal development and coaching support will be provided by Gerard Scheenstra as part of the role development journey.
What You Will Gain
This role offers the opportunity to:
- Become part of a purpose-driven global healthcare innovation community.
- Work closely with experienced entrepreneurs, healthcare professionals, AI thinkers, educators, and transformation leaders.
- Learn how to build and scale a community-driven innovation platform.
- Develop skills in community management, digital systems, content, events, and ecosystem building.
- Contribute to meaningful conversations about the future of healthcare and human-centered AI.
- Build your own visibility and credibility in the healthcare innovation space.
- Receive personal development and coaching support from Gerard Scheenstra.
- Potentially become involved in future workshops, learning programs, incubation projects, partnerships, and revenue-generating initiatives.
Important Note About the Nature of the Role
At this stage, FutureHealth University is still in its early growth phase.
This role should be seen as an entrepreneurial opportunity to become part of the founding community team, rather than a standard salaried employment position.
We are looking for someone who is motivated by purpose, learning, professional growth, network building, and the possibility to help shape future projects and income-generating activities together with the team.
The role can evolve as the community, programs, partnerships, and commercial opportunities develop.
How to Apply or Connect
If you are passionate about the future of healthcare and want to help build a global learning and innovation community, we would like to hear from you.
Please share a short introduction about yourself, your background, why this role interests you, and how you believe you could contribute to FutureHealth University.
