Role Description This is a full-time, remote Data Engineer role focused on strong SQL, Snowflake, and Python. The Data Engineer will design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines, enabling reliable data ingestion, transformation, and loading across multiple systems and environments. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing and optimizing SQL queries, implementing ETL workflows in Snowflake, writing Python scripts to automate data processes, and supporting data warehousing and analytics initiatives. The role also involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements, ensure data quality and integrity, and contribute to performance tuning and best practices for cloud-based data platforms.
Qualifications
- Strong data engineering skills, including experience with Data Engineering and Data Modeling.
- Hands-on expertise with Extract Transform Load (ETL) processes and Data Warehousing.
- Experience working with Data Analytics to support reporting, dashboards, and insights.
- Advanced proficiency in SQL, with practical experience on Snowflake or similar cloud data platforms.
- Solid programming skills in Python for automation, data processing, and integration tasks.
- Understanding of database design, performance optimization, and data governance best practices.
- Experience with version control (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Ability to work effectively in a remote, distributed team environment and communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
