Key Highlights
Design, build, and operate CI/CD pipelines
Provision and manage cloud infrastructure as code
Architect secure network topologies
Key Responsibilities
Design, build, and operate CI/CD pipelines (Github Actions, Azure DevOps, or equivalent) for reliable, repeatable delivery.
Provision and manage cloud infrastructure as code (Terraform, Bicep/ARM, or CloudFormation) with versioning, peer review, and automated promotion across environments.
Design and provision identity and access management (IAM) — RBAC role provisioning, least-privilege access, and directory integration (Azure AD / Entra ID, or equivalent).
Architect secure network topologies — Virtual Private Networks (VPNs), VNets/VPCs, private endpoints, and zero trust access controls.
Build and operate infrastructure that supports big data workloads and pipelines at scale.
Practice chaos engineering to validate resilience, harden failure modes, and improve reliability.
Continuously optimize cloud cost — right-sizing, autoscaling, reserved/spot capacity, and FinOps practices that cut waste without sacrificing reliability.
Establish cost visibility and accountability — resource tagging, budgets, alerts, showback/chargeback, and regular cost reviews with engineering and stakeholders.
Profile, benchmark, and tune workloads — identify bottlenecks and optimize compute, storage, and network for latency, throughput, and scale.
Automate environment provisioning, configuration, secrets management, and release processes end to end.
Build observability into the platform: monitoring, alerting, logging, and dashboards.
Harden pipelines and infrastructure with SecDevOps practices — scanning, least privilege, and policy as code.

About White Tower

White Tower Software is a collection of skilled, curious problem-solvers obsessed with helping businesses advance and expand through technology. From customer-facing products and enterprise-grade platforms to data engineering, machine learning, and AI, we partner with our clients to deliver real business transformation — where humans lead and AI multiplies.

We're seeking a qualified Cloud DevOps Engineer ready to do the best work of their career. You'll join a small, agile pod of cross-disciplinary experts who collaborate closely, move fast, and own the outcomes for our growing base of first-class business clients. We look for people who insist on high standards, earn trust through what they deliver, and stay relentlessly customer-centric — listening, inventing, and personalizing for every client. Bring proactive communication, a passion for quality, and a hands-on, AI-first mindset.

Core Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and operate CI/CD pipelines (Github Actions, Azure DevOps, or equivalent) for reliable, repeatable delivery.
  • Provision and manage cloud infrastructure as code (Terraform, Bicep/ARM, or CloudFormation) with versioning, peer review, and automated promotion across environments.
  • Design and provision identity and access management (IAM) — RBAC role provisioning, least-privilege access, and directory integration (Azure AD / Entra ID, or equivalent).
  • Architect secure network topologies — Virtual Private Networks (VPNs), VNets/VPCs, private endpoints, and zero trust access controls.
  • Build and operate infrastructure that supports big data workloads and pipelines at scale.
  • Practice chaos engineering to validate resilience, harden failure modes, and improve reliability.
  • Continuously optimize cloud cost — right-sizing, autoscaling, reserved/spot capacity, and FinOps practices that cut waste without sacrificing reliability.
  • Establish cost visibility and accountability — resource tagging, budgets, alerts, showback/chargeback, and regular cost reviews with engineering and stakeholders.
  • Profile, benchmark, and tune workloads — identify bottlenecks and optimize compute, storage, and network for latency, throughput, and scale.
  • Automate environment provisioning, configuration, secrets management, and release processes end to end.
  • Build observability into the platform: monitoring, alerting, logging, and dashboards.
  • Harden pipelines and infrastructure with SecDevOps practices — scanning, least privilege, and policy as code.
  • Use state of the art AI tooling to accelerate automation, delivery, and operational insight.

The Following Are Profile Items That Interests Us

  • Strong, demonstrable hands-on Cloud DevOps experience — Azure preferred, but AWS or GCP expertise is welcome and transferable.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar).
  • Proven experience with Infrastructure as Code in production — Terraform, Bicep/ARM, or CloudFormation.
  • Solid experience with IAM and RBAC role provisioning (least privilege, directory integration).
  • Hands-on experience designing secure networking — VPNs, VNets/VPCs, and private endpoints.
  • Working knowledge of zero trust architecture principles.
  • Experience supporting big data platforms and pipelines (e.g. Spark, Databricks, data lakes, streaming).
  • Exposure to chaos engineering / resilience testing.
  • Demonstrable track record in cloud cost optimization — right-sizing, autoscaling, reserved/spot/savings plans, and waste elimination with measurable savings.
  • Strong performance engineering skills — profiling, benchmarking, load testing, and tuning compute, storage, and network for latency and throughput.
  • Experience with FinOps tooling and cloud cost management (Azure Cost Management, AWS Cost Explorer, or similar).
  • Scripting and automation skills (PowerShell, Bash, or Python).
  • Experience with containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes / AKS / EKS / GKE).
  • Proficiency with monitoring and observability tooling.
  • Demonstrable experience using Git and its workflows.
  • Hands-on AI practitioner.

Must be very proactive in communication.
