Data Engineer

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines to extract, transform, and load data from various sources.
• Build and manage data storage solutions like data warehouses and data lakes.
• Implement processes and systems to monitor data quality and ensure its accuracy and availability.
• Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand data needs and design appropriate data models.
• Develop and maintain data pipelines that are efficient, secure, and reliable.
• Write code to automate data processing tasks and perform data analysis for troubleshooting purposes.
• Stay up-to-date on emerging data technologies and tools.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Experience with programming languages like Python, Java, or Scala.
• Experience with big data frameworks like Apache Spark, Hadoop, or Flink.
• Experience with AWS/Azure/GCP clouds
