- Perform daily payroll operations taking charge of payroll processes, wage computation, and timely & accurate disbursement of compensation across the organization.
- Review, analyze and check payroll reports for accuracy, eliminating inefficiencies and errors, and making corrections through journal entries & other established procedures.
- Provide information and answer employee queries about payroll related matters.
- Manage electronic timekeeping systems, collating and reviewing timesheets.
- Calculate payable hours, commissions, bonuses, tax withholdings, and deductions. Track and monitor disbursements, deductions & reimbursements.
- Prepare and issue earnings statements, issue paychecks, manage direct deposits and maintain employee records.
- Execute time and attendance processing, and interface with payroll. Review, endorse and post overtime and other data.
- Coordinate with HC to ensure accurate and updated employee data.
- Comply with and manage audit requests as and when required.
- Ensure accurate and timely year-end reporting as needed. Prepare and present reports for senior management and the finance team.
- Play the role of resident payroll tax expert to all internal and external stakeholders.
- Provide administrative assistance to the accounting department and assist with payroll expenditure projections and their analysis.
- Compile reports and perform financial analyses for audits and other compliance requirements.
- Identify, develop and implement new payroll procedures & improvements.
- Maintain records of hourly rates, wages & compensation, benefits & perks, new hire information, etc.

- Experience working with Oracle HCM Payroll, ERP systems, or similar payroll platforms is preferred.
- Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to handle confidential employee and payroll information with integrity and professionalism.
- Good understanding of financial controls, payroll accounting, and reporting procedures.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet strict payroll deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional certifications related to payroll, finance, or HR are an advantage.
- Experience in multinational or large-scale corporate environments is preferred.
